Flat roof windows

Windows in flat roofs are intended to allow light into the room.

Windows that are designed to allow light in to a room rather than for looking out of are called 'rooflights'.

In addition to the purely functional versions there is now a range of pyramid shapes that are visually attractive and due to the extra glazing allow more light into the building.
